What causes an itchy vulva?

Vulvovaginal itching is usually considered to be caused by Candida vaginitis, vulvovaginitis or bad lifestyle habits.
1. Candida vaginitis: it is a common type of vaginitis. Candida albicans exists in normal women’s vagina, when the invasive power of pathogenic bacteria is strengthened or their own immunity decreases, it will lead to abnormal proliferation of flora, resulting in vaginitis, which is commonly found in pregnant women or diabetic patients.
2. Vulvovaginitis: manifested as vulvar skin pain, itching, burning sensation or even swelling, vesicles, rashes, ulcers, the skin can be rough, thickened, cracked or moss-like changes. It can occur alone or at the same time with vaginitis or urinary tract diseases.
3. Bad life habits: such as not bathing, changing underwear leads to local itching.
