There are three main methods to accurately monitor a patient’s ovulation day: First, ultrasound monitoring, which is the most accurate method. Through ultrasound, the whole process of follicle development can be visually observed, and ovulation can be accurately monitored on which day it occurs. Secondly, ovulation monitoring by ovulation test paper should be done daily after the end of menstruation. When the ovulation test paper becomes strongly positive, ovulation will occur within the next 24-48 hours, and intercourse can be scheduled according to the situation. Thirdly, detect the day of ovulation by measuring the basal body temperature. A woman’s body temperature has a minimum value before ovulation, at which time ovulation occurs and intercourse can be arranged, and the body temperature will rise 0.3-0.5℃ within 1-2 days after ovulation.
