What to do if your baby wakes up easily in bed

Babies who wake up easily during sleep need to first consider insufficient vitamin D intake and calcium malabsorption. Under normal circumstances, babies need to take 400 units of vitamin D supplement every day, while ensuring milk intake. If milk intake is insufficient, you can take temporary, short-term calcium supplements, such as calcium lactate, calcium bicarbonate or calcium gluconate. In addition, if your baby is overfed and has gastroesophageal reflux, it is also easy to wake up. In this case, pay attention to reduce the amount of milk before going to bed, burp promptly after feeding and burp thoroughly, and after burping, you can hold your baby for about 15-20 minutes more before putting him/her to bed. In addition, closely observe whether there are other accompanying symptoms and identify whether there are other conditions causing the wakefulness, and then provide symptomatic treatment as appropriate.
