Can female urethral stricture be cured?

Urethral strictures are mostly curable, depending on the severity of the stricture, some are relatively difficult to treat, but overall there is no problem. The incidence of urethral stricture in women is slightly lower than in men, and it is mostly caused by medical factors, with infectious and traumatic factors being less common. Medical factors such as gynecological tumors of the uterus and ovaries, which require radiation therapy after surgery, can lead to scar formation around the pelvis, which sometimes spreads to the urethra, aggravating the scarring of the female urethra, and urethral strictures from this cause are relatively tricky to treat. As a result, mild strictures can be cured, but the local scarring that results from radiotherapy is so severe that this treatment is relatively ineffective.
