What should I look for in an eczema patient?

Eczema is an easily recurring allergic skin disease, with the intensification of environmental pollution and the pace of life, this type of disease is increasing, but also increasingly stubborn, since it is not easy to eradicate, then how can we reduce or even avoid recurrence? First, reduce washing, avoid hot water, use less or no soap and alkaline body wash. Eczema patients tend to have dry skin and weak skin barrier function, especially in the fall and winter. Daily bathing can make the skin even drier, the peripheral nerve excitability increases, itching intensifies, triggering or aggravating eczema. You can use some weak acidic body wash or herbal lotion. In the autumn and winter season, 1-2 times a week bathing is enough. Second, pay attention to diet, avoid wine, spicy, seafood, and too much sweet food. Eczema patients are mostly hot and damp, and these foods can help create heat from dampness and create a suitable environment for eczema from within. The Chinese New Year is approaching, which is one of the biggest “eating” festivals in China, and our dermatologists often encounter small peaks of eczema and hives after the holidays, which are not unrelated to these overly rich diets. Third, adjust the mind, relax the spirit, often like a taut string, will weaken the body’s immune function, a variety of diseases, including eczema. These are some of the problems that I often encounter in the clinic for your reference.
