Polycystic Trying to Get Pregnant

Women with polycystic can promote pregnancy through general treatment, ovulation monitoring, medication and assisted reproductive technology.
1. General treatment: women should pay attention to adjusting their lifestyles, eat less spicy, stimulating and greasy food, pay attention to rest, don’t stay up late, and exercise appropriately to improve their own resistance, and if women are more obese, they need to control their weight appropriately.
2. Ovulation monitoring: Since polycystic ovary syndrome has irregular ovulation or no ovulation, women can monitor the growth and development of follicles through ovulation test paper or under ultrasound to determine the time of ovulation, so as to guide coitus to increase the chance of pregnancy.
3. Medication: If a woman’s androgen level is high, she needs to take short-acting contraceptive pills as prescribed by her doctor to lower her androgen level; if necessary, she also needs to take drugs such as clomiphene citrate capsules and letrozole as prescribed by her doctor in order to promote ovulation.
4. Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART): If a woman has not used contraception and has had a normal sex life for one year or more, it is recommended that she can get pregnant through assisted reproductive technology such as in vitro fertilization (IVF).
For women who want to get pregnant with polycystic, it is recommended that they go to the gynecology and reproduction departments of regular hospitals, and choose the appropriate way of treatment under the guidance of the doctor, so as to increase the chances of pregnancy.
