What to do with children’s teeth

Children with insect teeth may need remineralization treatment, repair, nerve killing or extraction, etc. It is recommended to go to the dentist for specific examination and treatment, and regular review. 1. For children with superficial caries who cannot cooperate, remineralization treatment can be chosen to apply fluoride protective agent to promote tooth remineralization and prevent caries. 2. If there are obvious caries cavities, the decayed material should be removed in time and filled with glass ionomer or composite resin. 3. The insect teeth that have penetrated the pulp cavity can be treated by killing the nerve, and if necessary, do the preformed crown restoration. 4. Children with untreatable wisdom teeth need to be extracted if the bottom of the tooth is penetrated or if the root resorption is severe. Children should have regular oral checkups, generally recommended once every 3 to 6 months.
