Epinephrine Hydrochloride Injection Action

Epinephrine hydrochloride injection has the effect of relieving allergic reaction and prolonging the time of infiltration anesthesia, etc. It is mainly used in the treatment of severe respiratory distress caused by bronchospasm and cardiac arrest caused by various reasons. Adrenaline hydrochloride injection has both α-receptor and β-receptor agonism, α-receptor agonism can cause vasoconstriction of the skin, mucous membranes and viscera, β-receptor agonism can cause coronary vasodilatation, excitation of skeletal muscle, cardiac muscle, increased heart rate, bronchial smooth muscle and gastrointestinal smooth muscle relaxation. Therefore, epinephrine hydrochloride injection has the above reactions. Common clinical adverse reactions include palpitations, headache, elevated blood pressure, tremor and vertigo. Sometimes there may be cardiac arrhythmia, and in severe cases, death may be caused by ventricular fibrillation. Localized edema, congestion and inflammation may occur. It should be noted that patients with hypertension, organic heart disease, diabetes mellitus, digitalis intoxication and cardiogenic asthma are prohibited. Athletes should use with caution.
