Which of the clinical manifestations of leukemia are considered to be pyrexia

The clinical manifestations of leukemia, such as irritability, facial redness, macular rash, and delirium tremens (confusion, babbling), are considered to be heat-toxic in Chinese medicine. Chinese medicine puts leukemia into the category of “blood evidence (non-physiological bleeding disorders)”. TCM recognizes the causes of leukemia in terms of heat and toxicity and deficiency, which are heat and toxicity for a long time, disturbing the essence; deficiency of positive qi; and internal obstruction of stasis of blood due to turbidity and evils. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) classifies leukemia into five types of evidence after identification and treatment. Heat-toxicity blazing (the body’s fire is too exuberant), phlegm-heat stasis obstruction, yin deficiency fire (the body’s yin essence is deficient, and there is a deficiency fire), qi and yin deficiency (both qi and yin are deficient), and dampness-heat internal obstruction. The clinical manifestations of Heat and Toxicity Excessive Symptoms include strong heat, thirst, irritability, redness and sweating, headache, sores on the mouth and tongue, sore throat, coughing and spitting of yellow phlegm, boils on the skin and anus, dryness of the bowels, short and reddish urine (small amount of urine, dark yellow in color), vomiting of blood, urinating of blood, or even fainting and delirious speech. Clinically, it is mainly treated by clearing heat and removing toxins (removing heat and toxins from the body), cooling the blood and stopping bleeding (cooling and moisturizing the blood to prevent bleeding). Consultation with a Chinese medicine practitioner is recommended if there is any discomfort.
