Blood in sputum two years after lung adenocarcinoma surgery may have the following reasons: recurrence of lung cancer after surgery, pulmonary embolism and lung infection.
1. Postoperative recurrence of lung cancer: patients may have recurrence of lung cancer two years after operation. After recurrence of lung cancer, there may be blood in sputum, hemoptysis, cough, etc. It is necessary to improve chest CT to understand the situation of lung foci, and if there are lung tumors in the imaging, it is necessary to improve bronchoscopy or percutaneous lung puncture biopsy to clarify the pathology of the foci. Then, according to the pathology, the treatment should be targeted.
2. Combined with pulmonary embolism: lung cancer patients are hypercoagulable and easy to be combined with embolism, when combined with pulmonary embolism, it can be manifested as blood in sputum, hemoptysis, dyspnea, chest pain, etc. It is necessary to improve the CTA examination of pulmonary artery to make it clear; if the diagnosis of pulmonary embolism is clear, it is necessary to be treated with anticoagulation or thrombolysis according to the risk classification of pulmonary embolism.
3. Combined lung infection: when combined with Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Streptococcus pneumoniae and other lung infections, blood in sputum can also occur; chest CT should be perfected to know the lung infection; anti-infection treatment should be given as the main treatment.
Precautions: if there is blood in sputum after lung cancer surgery, and there is the possibility of hemoptysis, it is necessary to find out the cause of bleeding in hospital in time and follow the doctor’s instruction.
