What is the electric tingling sensation in the arm?

There are several reasons for the electric numbness in the arms: First, it may be caused by neurogenic cervical spondylosis. After cervical spondylosis arises, the protruding cervical intervertebral disc or the hyperplastic bone stimulates the nerve roots, which leads to the feeling of discharge numbness in the arms. Especially when the posture of the neck changes more obviously, the sudden pressure on the nerve root will produce a feeling like electrical discharge. Second, the disease that leads to the feeling of electric numbness in the arm may be the injury of the brachial plexus nerve, and once the brachial plexus nerve is injured it will lead to a numb feeling in the upper limbs. Thirdly, relatively rare is neuritis of the upper limbs, resulting in a feeling of electric numbness in the arms.
