When can I have intercourse after a tubal lysis?

You can usually have intercourse about half a month after the tubal lysis.

Tubal fluids are usually chosen within three to seven days after the period is clean, after exclusion of gynecological inflammation and without sexual intercourse. The doctor injects fluids into the uterine cavity, such as saline, gentamicin, enzyme dissolver, etc., and diagnoses whether the tubes are open or not based on the smoothness of the injection. The fluid enters the pelvic cavity and the pressure of the injected fluid decreases indicating that the tubes are open.

Usually about half a month after the tubal fluids can have intercourse, premature intercourse may lead to infection, tubal adhesion again.

The specific time for sexual intercourse after tubal fluids are passed needs to be guided and advised by the doctor according to the patient’s specific condition.
