Multiple granular nodules in the upper lobes of both lungs are part of the description of a lesion in the lungs on CT. Diseases considered include intrapulmonary tuberculosis, pulmonary metastases, pneumoconiosis, tuberculosis, and multiple primary pulmonary nodules.
1. Intrapulmonary tuberculosis: bronchial or hematogenous dissemination of tuberculosis, resulting in multiple caseous lesions, can lead to multiple granular nodular changes.
2. Lung metastases: there is a history of primary tumor, and some of them will be transferred to the lungs by blood line, and the discovery of multiple nodules in the lungs needs to consider the possibility of metastases.
3. Pneumoconiosis: Most of the patients have a history of special work, after inhaling dust, localized nodular changes will be formed in the lungs, which will lead to corresponding conditions.
4. Nodular disease: it is an immune disease, because of the immune reaction, it will form multiple nodules in the lungs, and part of the population will cause corresponding changes.
5. Multiple Primary Lung Nodules: Primary nodules in the lungs, with more foci, will also have corresponding changes, and is related to tissue cell proliferation.
The presence of multiple corn-like nodules in the upper lobes of both lungs requires a clear diagnosis based on clinical history and the patient’s specific condition, and standardized treatment under the guidance of the clinician.
