Generally, most 12-month-old babies can walk on their own.
The time when babies are able to walk is usually 12 to 15 months. At 9 to 10 months of age, babies can usually stand up by holding on to objects. At 11 to 12 months of age, some babies can begin to walk by holding on to walls or stools. Within 12 to 15 months, they will gradually walk more steadily, more often without the need for object support.
Most 12-month-olds can walk on their own. The baby’s sitting, crawling, standing, walking, running and other large motor development is a watery process, do not be too anxious to let the baby learn to walk, parents should give the baby to set aside space for movement and exercise, and do the necessary safety protection.
