Male strong yang acupoints, i.e., acupoints with yang tonic effect, include lumbar yang guan, vital gate, shen que and other acupoints. 1. Lumbar Yang Guan is located in the spine area, in the depression under the spinous process of the 4th lumbar vertebra, on the back center line. It is mainly used for the treatment of spermatorrhea, impotence and other gynecological diseases; menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea, gynecological diseases such as leucorrhoea (abnormal leucorrhoea with blood or blood clots); lumbosacral pain, paralysis of the lower limbs (lower limb weakness, numbness and pain) and other diseases. 2. Vital gate, in the spinal region, the 2nd lumbar vertebrae spinal protuberance in the depression, after the center line. It is mainly used for the treatment of spermatorrhea, impotence, sperm cold and sterility and other kidney yang deficiency (lack of yang energy in the kidneys) and other conditions; irregular menstruation, reddish-white leucorrhoea, dysmenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, infertility and other gynecological disorders; and cold pain in the abdomen and diarrhea and other disorders. 3. Shen Que, in the center of the umbilicus, is mainly used for the treatment of deficiencies, such as stroke and dehydration; edema, urinary incontinence (dysuria) and other conditions.
