According to the Chinese Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of Dyslipidemia in Adults, the criteria for elevated dyslipidemia are cholesterol ≥ 6.2 mmol/L, LDL cholesterol ≥ 4.1 mmol/L, or triglycerides ≥ 2.3 mmol/L, and so on. Dyslipidemia includes elevated cholesterol (CH), triglycerides (TG), low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), and lowered high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), which are further categorized into five grades: ideal level, appropriate level, borderline elevated, elevated, and lowered. The criteria for abnormally elevated lipids are cholesterol ≥ 6.2 mmol/L, LDL cholesterol ≥ 4.1 mmol/L, non-HDL cholesterol ≥ 4.9 mmol/L, and triglycerides ≥ 2.3 mmol/L. When abnormal elevation of blood lipid should be timely consultation, under the guidance of the doctor for treatment, daily avoidance of high oil and high fat food, eat more vitamin-rich fruits and vegetables, balanced nutrition, pay attention to moderate physical exercise, avoid excessive obesity.
