Perianal vitiligo commonly used treatment modalities are external drug therapy, internal drug therapy, phototherapy and so on.
1. Topical drug therapy: various dosage forms of glucocorticoid preparations can be used can be applied to the white spots, suitable for white spots with an area less than 10% of the body surface area; calcium-modulated phosphatase preparations, such as tacrolimus ointment and pimecrolimus cream, can also be used to apply perianal vitiligo. In addition, drugs such as vitamin D3 derivatives can also be used.
2. Internal drug therapy: for patients with progressive stage, oral or intramuscular glucocorticoid can effectively control the condition.
3. Phototherapy: NB-UVB and 308nm excimer laser/light can be applied to the treatment of perianal vitiligo, but attention should be paid to the protection of external genitalia.
