The common side effects of ametinib mesylate tablets are mostly in the form of rash, itching, diarrhea, anemia, and proteinuria. Serious side effects include elevated blood creatine phosphokinase, interstitial lung disease (e.g., dyspnea, interstitial changes in the lungs), and altered myocardial contractility (manifestations: rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath). Side effects of ametinib mesylate tablets do not occur in all patients, most of them are mild side effects, such as diarrhea, anemia, proteinuria, rash, itching. Serious side effects, such as elevated blood creatine phosphokinase, interstitial lung disease, and altered myocardial contractility, are present in only a few patients. Aimetinib mesylate tablets are indicated for adult patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer who have experienced disease progression on or after prior treatment with an epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor and who are confirmed to be positive for the EGFRT790M mutation. This drug is contraindicated in people who are allergic to this drug. Breastfeeding is required to suspend breastfeeding during the use of the drug.
