There is no such thing as the fastest way to reduce fever in children, you need to choose the right medication according to the cause of the disease, such as upper respiratory tract infections, bronchitis, pneumonia and so on.
You can use warm towels to wipe the body, use antipyretic patches and other ways to physically lower the temperature. If the child’s fever continues to exceed 38.5℃, parents can give the child antipyretic medications, such as ibuprofen and acetaminophen, as prescribed by the doctor.
1. Upper respiratory tract infections: for upper respiratory tract infections caused by children with fever, if it is caused by viral infections, general supportive treatment; if it is caused by bacterial infections, you can give the child antibiotic medication, such as cephalexin, levofloxacin and so on.
