Zhi Bai Di Huang Wan consists of Zhi Mu, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Rhizoma Dioscoreae, Rhizoma Cypress, Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum, Rhizoma Dioscoreae, Rhizoma Oryza Sativa, Poria, and Zedoaria, which nourishes yin and lowers fire (nourishes yin essence and lowers fire).
Zhi Bai Di Huang Wan can be used for yin deficiency and fire exuberance (deficiency of yin essence in the body, resulting in hyperactive fire), hot flashes and night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep and stopping sweating after waking up), dry mouth and sore throat, tinnitus and spermatorrhea, and short and red urination (small amount of urination with dark yellow color). The adverse reactions and contraindications of this drug are not known.
