It is possible that many parasitic diseases including roundworms, pinworms and hookworms can cause loss of appetite and even anorexia. This is of course relatively rare and is mostly caused by diseases of the digestive and haematopoietic systems. Treatment should involve good feeding habits, the development of good dietary hygiene and active treatment of the primary disease.
