Anorexia in infants can induce iron deficiency anaemia. The main reason is that the body does not take in enough iron and haemoglobin is not effectively replenished, so iron deficiency anaemia occurs. If the anaemia is not corrected in time, the anaemia can lead to a lack of essential nutrients in the stomach and intestines and a decrease in digestive function, which in turn can aggravate the anorexia.
