Does Ginger Barley Tea Work?

Ginger juice is the juice boiled from ginger; Job’s tears are also known as Coix lacryma. It has the effect of inducing diuresis and seepage of dampness (promoting the flow of water to get rid of dampness), strengthening the spleen and stopping diarrhea, removing paralysis, draining pus, and detoxifying the toxin and dispersing knots.
Coix seed kernel is used in the treatment of edema, dysuria, dampness paralysis and contracture, intestinal carbuncle (carbuncle that occurs in the intestines and bowels, manifested by fever, pain in the right abdomen, and palpable lumps) and other conditions. Its adverse effects are not clear.
