What are the sequelae after minimally invasive kidney stone surgery?

Different methods of minimally invasive kidney stone surgery lead to different sequelae. Minimally invasive kidney stone surgery methods are generally categorized into three percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, and extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy. The details are as follows: 1. Percutaneous nephrolithotomy: Percutaneous nephrolithotomy kidney stone crushing and stone removal surgery is prone to kidney injury, bleeding and other sequelae due to the high risk of surgery. 2. Ureteroscopy: Ureteroscopy kidney stone lithotripsy surgery, the main sequelae are easy to cause stone residue, ureteral injury, ureteral stenosis and so on. 3. Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy: the sequelae of extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy are mainly related to the number of lithotripsy. The number of times of lithotripsy will easily lead to brittle blood vessels causing hematoma or atrophy of kidney. Generally, the number of times of extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy is not recommended to be more than three times.
