Is cystic echogenicity in the right adnexal region serious?

If a cystic echogenicity is found in the right adnexal area by ultrasound, the main clinical distinction is whether it is a physiological cyst or a pathological cyst. If it occurs in the second half of menstruation and does not exceed five centimeters in diameter, it may be a physiological cyst, and it is recommended to review it after menstruation clears. If the cyst shrinks significantly or even disappears, it is a physiological cyst, and clinically no intervention or treatment is needed. If the cyst is larger than five centimeters and does not shrink or disappear after menstruation, it is more likely to be a pathological cyst, which is not serious and belongs to a common gynecological disease.
