The blisters after sunburn are considered to be caused by solar dermatitis, which can be treated by general treatment, topical medication, oral medication and other treatment modalities.
1. General treatment: usually pay attention to good sunscreen, avoid direct sunlight irradiation of the skin, maintain local cleanliness and hygiene, gently bandage or cover the blisters with gauze, protect the skin, avoid blisters rupture caused by secondary infection. If the blister ruptures, it should be carefully washed with mild soap and water and then covered with a wet dressing, such as saline or petroleum jelly-soaked gauze.
2. Topical drugs: local itching symptoms, can be prescribed topical antipruritic agent treatment, such as glycerine lotion, zinc oxide ointment, menthol ointment, etc.; sunburn lesions less, can be prescribed topical 3% boric acid solution wet treatment; topical glucocorticosteroids to control infections, such as hydrocortisone cream, dinexed cream and so on.
3. Oral medication: if the symptoms are serious, oral antihistamine treatment, such as loratadine, cetirizine, etc.; if the condition is serious, oral glucocorticoid treatment, such as prednisone.
