What’s wrong with the painful vulvar fissures?

If the vulva is always fissured and painful, the majority of cases are due to bacterial vaginosis. Bacterial vaginosis is caused by anaerobic bacterial infection, which leads to a thin, copious discharge from the vagina, irritating the posterior vaginal union and causing a local inflammatory reaction, resulting in small fissures and pain. Active clinical treatment must be given, such as oral metronidazole tablets for 5 days, and intravaginal metronidazole suppositories are recommended for treatment. For vulvar fissures, it is recommended to use 1:5000 potassium permanganate sitz baths and insist on 1-2 times a day to make the local skin heal as soon as possible through heat circulation.
