Adrenal medullary lipoma, also known as adrenal medullary lipoma, is a benign tumor of the adrenal gland and does not have a secretory function. As the name implies, adrenal medullary lipoma is composed of mature adipose tissue and bone marrow hematopoietic cells. Clinically, adrenal medullary lipoma has no specific clinical manifestations, and many patients are found by chance during physical examination. When the tumor is large it may lead to abdominal pain and distension. If combined with spontaneous bleeding within the tumor, necrosis may result in hematuria. If the tumor is too large and compresses the renal blood vessels, hypertension may occur. For patients with small adrenal medullary lipoma and no clinical manifestations, no special treatment can be given and regular observation can be done, but patients with more severe clinical manifestations or larger tumors need to undergo surgery.
