What is the formula and dosage of Isokongsan?

The formula of Yi Gong San includes Ginseng, Chen Pi, Atractylodes Macrocephala, Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae Praeparatae and Poria, etc. The exact dosage should be decided by a medical professional.
Isokong San is an ancient traditional formula. The efficacy of this formula is to benefit qi, strengthen the spleen, and move qi to resolve stagnation. It is used for treating Qi deficiency in the spleen and stomach with Qi stagnation, such as loss of appetite, chest congestion, vomiting, and loose stools (thin and unformed feces).
In this formula, ginseng benefits qi and tonifies the middle; Chenpi promotes qi and strengthens the spleen; Atractylodes macrocephala strengthens the spleen and dries dampness; Poria seeps dampness and strengthens the spleen; and Radix et Rhizoma Glycyrrhizae modulates all the medicines (modulates the properties of different Chinese medicines), benefits qi and harmonizes the middle (replenishes qi and regulates the spleen and stomach). The combination of these herbs can benefit the qi and strengthen the spleen, move qi and eliminate stagnation. The adverse effects of the above formula are not known.
