How to check the ultrasound of the uterus

Ultrasound of the uterus can be given through two ways: First, abdominal ultrasound, usually you need to hold urine before the examination, and you can only do ultrasound examination of the uterus if you have urinary urgency. Through ultrasound examination, you can find out the size of the uterus, whether there are abnormal echogenicity in the uterine cavity, whether the myometrial echo is normal, and also whether there is pelvic fluid, whether there is abnormal enlargement of the ovaries bilaterally, and whether there is fluid in the fallopian tubes. The abdominal ultrasound can be checked more clearly. In addition, if you are pregnant, you can also find out the size of the intrauterine gestational sac and whether there is primitive cardiac pulsation through ultrasound. Second, vaginal ultrasound is used to examine the uterus to understand the local condition of the uterus, and it is necessary to empty the urine before the examination. Vaginal ultrasound will be clearer compared to abdominal ultrasound, mainly because the posterior vaginal fornix is relatively thin in tissue and reflects the situation inside the uterine cavity more clearly.
