Acupuncture points such as Shen Que, Kidney Yu and Guan Yuan can assist in raising Yang Qi.
1. Shen Que is in the middle of the navel, the center of the umbilicus. It is used for treating abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhea, prolapse, edema, dysuria, stroke, dysentery and other disorders.
2. Kidney Yu is located under the spinous process of the 2nd lumbar vertebra, 1.5 inches from the side. It is used for treating kidney deficiency such as dizziness, tinnitus, deafness, lumbago, etc.; urogenital disorders such as enuresis, spermatorrhea, impotence, premature ejaculation, sterility, etc.; gynecological disorders such as menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea, infertility, etc.; and thirst and other disorders.
3. Guanyuan is located in the lower abdomen, on the front center line, 3 inches below the umbilicus. It is used for treating pain in the lower abdomen, hernia, spermatorrhea, impotence, premature ejaculation, leucorrhea (cloudy urine like white pulp), urinary incontinence, frequent urination, dysmenorrhea, metrorrhagia (excessive menstruation or dribbling), and disorders such as stroke.
