Is low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia of gastric sinus erosion cancerous?

In general, low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia in gastric sinus erosion is not cancerous. Gastric sinus celiac disease presenting with low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia is a pathologic description of intraepithelial neoplasia, a proliferation of the gastric mucosal epithelium characterized by the presence of varying degrees of cellular and structural heterogeneity, and a neoplastic proliferation in nature without clear evidence of invasive growth. Low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia can manifest itself in three broad growth patterns: flat, polypoid and indurated. However, the presence of high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia, which is an early stage cancer or in situ cancer manifestation, must be taken fully seriously. In addition, it is recommended that patients with low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia in gastric sinus erosion go to the hospital in time, and undergo regular review to observe the development of the condition and avoid aggravation.
