Feeling something stinging in the urethra, there are two possibilities: one is the irritation of inflammation in the urethra; the other is possibly caused by stones blocking the urethra. It is recommended to do a routine urine examination. If there are red and white blood cells in the urine routine and there is bleeding from the urethra, it may be caused by a urinary tract infection. If there is stinging pain and a feeling of dyspareunia in the urethra, it may be caused by stones. It is recommended to always drink more water and urinate more often, and if necessary, take abdominal plain films to observe the size of the urethral stones. If it is inflammation, the symptoms will be relieved by anti-inflammatory treatment for 2-3 days. If there are small stones, they can be expelled by drinking more water and taking anti-inflammatory drugs. If the stones are large, they should be broken up by cystoscopy and expelled from the body in order to relieve the stabbing pain in the urethra.
