Hair transplantation is effective and is a preferred treatment option for patients with severe hair loss and baldness. This method works by transplanting healthy growing hair follicles from the occipital region to the area where there is no hair, enabling the follicles to continue to grow healthily and permanently in the diseased area. Currently, hair transplantation methods can be broadly categorized into two types: one is the scarred transplantation method, in which the occipital hair follicles are cut along with a skin flap and then transplanted separately into the diseased area; and the other is the non-scarred transplantation, in which the hair follicles are extracted directly without injuring the skin, and thus leaving no traces. At present, the surgical operation cost of hair transplantation is relatively high, usually charged in follicles, about each follicle transplantation needs 8-12 dollars, the overall cost of the general need to reach more than 10,000 yuan.
