The six hormone tests mainly include follicle stimulating hormone, luteinizing hormone, prolactin, estradiol, progesterone and testosterone. If the test results are within the normal range, it means that there is no problem with the ovaries. If estrogen and progesterone are abnormal, menstrual disorders are likely to occur; increased prolactin can lead to breast overflow, mostly seen in amenorrheic lactation syndrome; if testosterone is elevated, amenorrhea, masculinization of female sexual characteristics or polycystic ovary syndrome are likely to occur. Different numerical abnormalities have different clinical significance and can be combined with clinical manifestations to determine the nature of the disease and give appropriate treatment.
