HPV51 positive means that the body is infected with high risk type 51 HPV virus. It is recommended to see a gynecologist for a liquid-based cytology examination. If there is any abnormality, colposcopy should be performed. If normal or suspicious, HPV and TCT should be performed after 6 months and will disappear naturally after about 6 months when the body’s resistance is strengthened. Depending on the case, the diagnosis of pathological changes or the absence of pathological changes will be confirmed. If it is a common inflammatory disease, it can be treated with topical medication or with electrotherapy, cryotherapy or laser treatment, and it needs to be treated with povidone suppositories and interferon under the guidance of a doctor. If cytological examination reveals pathological changes, some cervical biopsies need to be taken for pathological examination and surgical treatment should be performed as soon as possible after the diagnosis is confirmed.
