Nocturnal enuresis in children

Nocturnal enuresis (NE) is a common disorder in children. Clinically, it mostly refers to the inability of children to wake up from sleep at night after the age of 5 years and the occurrence of unconscious urination, which lasts for more than 6 months, and the exact number of urination is not yet uniform. According to the diagnostic criteria established by ICCS: children aged 5 to 10 years have at least 2 times per month; those >10 years have at least 1 time per month when normal urination occurs at an inappropriate or socially unacceptable time and place.
