Treatment of trichomoniasis in men

Men with trichomoniasis are usually infected by having sex with women who have trichomoniasis. Although most men do not have any symptoms after infection, the damage to the genitourinary system is still relatively large, so timely treatment is needed. Currently, the treatment of trichomoniasis in men is based on oral medication, and then combined with external cleansing medication will be more effective. The actual fact is that you can find a lot of people who are not able to get a good deal on a lot of things. You can take oral methotrexate tablets, 2.0 grams of methotrexate for patients with less serious symptoms, and take it all at once, usually to achieve good results. It can also be taken in divided doses, 500 mg each time, twice a day for 7 days. If the symptoms do not improve significantly after using the medication, you can give methotrexate 500 mg twice a day orally for 7 days for drug-resistant vaginal trichomonads, which means increasing the course of medication to 14 days. For patients with more severe symptoms, 2.0 grams of methotrexate can be given orally once a day for 3 to 5 days to achieve a complete cure. While taking the medication you can wash the entire pubic area with cleansing lotion or furnace glycolic lotion for better results. In daily life, you should develop good hygiene habits, clean yourself, eliminate unclean sex, and do not share bath towels, toothbrushes, bathtubs and other household items with others.
