Is too much rabies vaccination harmful?

Rabies vaccine is a drug, and as long as it is a drug, it has certain adverse reactions and side effects. Therefore, rabies vaccine may cause harmful effects, mainly adverse reactions to rabies vaccine, such as pain, redness, swelling or hard nodules at the injection site, which are localized and will disappear within 1 or 2 days or 1 or 2 weeks. Systemic reactions, such as mild fever, may occur. Some rare adverse reactions, such as systemic hyperthermia or allergic reactions, are rare but are more serious. Therefore, rabies vaccination should be given at the prescribed dose and number of shots.
