The public is reminded that cryptoptera are diurnal and phototropic, so be sure to close the screen at night when studying or working under the lights. In addition, cryptophid insects are mostly found in places with lots of grass and trees, and are more common during the rainy season, so it’s best to wear long clothes and pants when playing in the field. The presence of cryptoptera in the home requires spraying insecticides such as gunner and mirex.
