Adenomyosis patients

For many years, gynecologists have believed that the best treatment for adenomyosis is hysterectomy, and the problem of preserving reproductive function in patients with adenomyosis has been troubling both doctors and patients. Surgical resection of the focal point is incomplete, and pregnancy cannot be achieved immediately, and it is easy to recur during pregnancy, and there is a risk of uterine rupture during pregnancy; medication, such as GnRH and mifepristone, is effective, but it is easy to recur after stopping the medication, and it is unsustainable; interventional therapy also has a high rate of recurrence, and the uterus is in an ischemic state, and it may have an adverse impact on pregnancy and reproduction. But now, with the application of Mannuelle Ring, gynecologists have finally found a better treatment option. The Mannuelle ring is a progesterone-containing ring that is placed in the uterine cavity to slowly release progesterone for up to 5 years, which can help reduce menstrual flow, relieve menstrual cramps, and shrink the size of the tumor in patients with adenomyosis. The most common adverse reaction to Mannitol is spotty bleeding in the first 3 to 6 months of placement, which can be effectively addressed in combination with GnRH. Individualized treatment should be taken specifically for different patients. (1) For patients with uniformly enlarged uterus, GnRH treatment can be given for 3~6 months, and after stopping the drug, the Mannix ring can be put on, and the ring can be taken off until the time of preparation for childbearing, and the Mannix ring can be replaced if no childbearing has been done for more than 5 years; for patients with infertility history, it can be combined with assisted reproduction in order to increase the rate of fertilization and reduce the recurrence of the disease; (2) For patients with adenomyosis who have asymmetric thickness of the anterior and posterior wall of the uterus, or patients with focal (2) For patients with adenomyosis with obvious symmetry of the thickness of the anterior and posterior walls of the uterus, or patients with focal hyperplasia of adenomyomas, resection of the lesion should be performed first, and then GnRH treatment should be given for 3-6 months, and then Mannuelle Ring should be put in place after stopping the medication.
