Cold sweat on the forehead

Cold sweats on the forehead can be divided into two different causes from the Western medicine perspective and the Chinese medicine perspective respectively. Cold sweating on the forehead is usually a precursor symptom of a viral cold from the Western medicine point of view, followed by fever, chills, cold extremities, pallor, drop in blood pressure, fine pulse, high body temperature, and a body temperature of about 38-38.5°C. If fluids are not replenished in time, it may soon develop into infectious shock. As in Chinese medicine, cold sweating on the forehead is caused by a deficiency of kidney yang and essence in the body, and is usually accompanied by cold symptoms such as loose stools, clear and long urine, sluggish pulse, white tongue coating and little fluid.
