The staging of invasive breast cancer is called TNM staging, in TNM, T stands for the size of the tumor, the larger the volume of the tumor, the higher the T. N stands for lymph node metastasis, the more metastatic lymph nodes or fusion among them, the higher the N. M stands for distant metastasis, as long as there is a distant metastasis other than the mammary gland, it is regarded as distant metastasis. If the volume of the tumor is less than or equal to 2cm, it belongs to T1; if it is greater than 2cm but less than or equal to 5cm, it belongs to T2; if it is greater than 5cm, it belongs to T3; as long as the tumor invades the surrounding skin, chest wall and muscle, the staging is T4. No lymph node metastasis is N0; if there are 1-3 active ipsilateral lymph node metastasis, it is N1; if there are 4-9 ipsilateral axillary lymph node metastasis and fusion with each other, it is N2; when there are more than 10 ipsilateral lymph nodes, or ipsilateral subclavian lymph node metastasis, or ipsilateral medial breast lymph node metastasis in addition to axillary lymph node metastasis, it is N3 in these cases. If there is no distant metastasis it is M0, as long as there is any distant bone metastasis, lung metastasis, brain metastasis, liver metastasis and any other metastasis it is considered as M1. It is recommended that patients find out that they have breast cancer and seek medical treatment in time so as not to delay their condition.
