The presence of calcification in breast nodules needs to be alerted to the possibility of seriousness of the disease. Because at present in the clinic, breast nodules need to be examined by color ultrasound and graded according to whether the blood supply of the nodule is good, whether the border is clear, whether it is accompanied by calcification, and whether the aspect ratio is more than one. If the grading is above grade 4, it means that there is a possibility of malignancy, that is, if the breast nodule has calcification, there is also a high risk factor for malignancy. For breast nodules with calcification, one needs to be alert to the possibility of malignancy. If the grading is above grade 4, further cytocentesis or pathological biopsy is needed to rule out the possibility of malignancy. If malignancy is ruled out, the patient needs regular follow-up and close observation. Breast nodule with calcification is a high-risk factor for malignant transformation of breast nodule, and we need to be alert to the possibility of its evolution into breast cancer.
