Chinese herbal remedies for treating stomach acidity and bloating, acid reflux and watery heartburn include Zuojin Wan and Qinggong San.
Zuo Jin Wan is composed of Rhizoma Coptidis and Cornu Cervi Pantotrichum. It is used for pain in the epigastric region caused by liver fire in the stomach, bitter and noisy mouth (a feeling similar to hunger, emptiness with burning in the stomach), vomiting of sour water, and dislike of hot drinks. Diet should be light, avoid alcohol and spicy, cold and greasy food.
Clearing the stomach is effective in clearing the stomach and cooling the blood. It is used for treating toothache caused by stomach fire, which is characterized by toothache and headache, heat in cheeks, teeth preferring cold to heat, or bleeding from dental proclamation, or red, swollen and ulcerated gums, or swelling and pain in lips, tongue, cheeks and cheeks, hot and smelly breath, dryness of mouth and tongue, and reddish fur on the tongue. It is not suitable for those whose toothache belongs to wind-cold and kidney deficiency and fire inflammation.
