Cervical cancer in the early stage is mainly due to the persistent infection of the cervical epithelium with high-risk HPV, which leads to cervical lesions and even the eventual development of cervical cancer, and in the early stage, there may be bleeding during coitus, or there may be no corresponding symptoms. It is important for women to go to the hospital regularly for cervical cancer screening because if lesions are found on the cervical epithelium through cervical cancer screening, timely treatment will prevent the occurrence of cervical cancer. If a lesion occurs and is not detected and is not known to be present, the lesion may progress to a higher level of cervical lesion, or even develop into cervical cancer, thus losing a good opportunity for treatment. It is recommended that women undergo cervical cancer screening once a year, and that any abnormalities found are dealt with in a timely manner.
