Can female discharge like yellow-green snot heal on its own?

When the discharge resembles yellow-green snot, it is mostly due to infection and usually does not heal on its own. It is recommended that the hospital gynecology department conducts tests such as white belt tests to clarify the cause. Normal vaginal discharge is white or colorless, odorless and usually in small amounts. If there is a yellowish-green sticky leucorrhea, it is usually associated with decreased local resistance and vaginal dysbiosis, most commonly trichomoniasis and bacterial vaginitis, but may also be a mixed infection. It is recommended that such women go to the gynecological examination of the hospital after 24 hours of stopping sexual intercourse, and through the routine examination of the leucorrhoea, the pathogenic bacteria that cause abnormal changes in the leucorrhoea can be clarified and treated with symptomatic medication under the guidance of the doctor. Pay attention to the cleanliness of the vulva, wash and change underwear regularly, and eat a light diet. It is recommended to treat both men and women at the same time, prohibit sexual intercourse during treatment to avoid cross-infection, and do cervical cancer screening, hpv and tct testing regularly.
