What are the herbal remedies for nasal polyps?

Chinese medicine believes that nasal polyps are related to heat in the lung meridian, deficiency of lung and spleen qi, and stagnation of phlegm and dampness, and can be treated with Xinyi Lung Cleansing Drink, Ginseng Ling Baijusan combined with Siling San, and Phlegm Conducting Soup. 1. Lung meridian heat: with symptoms such as yellow and turbid nasal mucus and reddish-colored polyps, adding and subtracting Xinyi Lung Clearing Drink can clear the lung qi and dissipate heat and stagnation. 2. Lung, spleen and qi deficiency: with symptoms such as pale or pale polyps, clear nasal mucus, tiredness and lassitude (fatigue), etc. Add or subtract Ginseng Ling Baijusan and Siling San to strengthen the spleen and benefit qi, and promote dampness and dispel turbidity. 3. Phlegm-dampness stagnation: with polyps that are grayish-white in color, nasal discharge of clear or yellowish snot, excessive amount of discomfort, etc., through the addition and subtraction of Phlegm-guiding Tang, to achieve the effect of drying dampness and resolving phlegm (to dispel phlegm by drying dampness) and dispersing the stagnation. Treatment of nasal polyps suggests that patients follow the doctor’s instructions and go to a regular hospital in a timely manner.
