Glioblastoma grows rapidly and has a short course. Patients with advanced stage may have intracranial hypertension symptoms, epilepsy, mental abnormality, focal destruction of cerebral nerves and so on. 1. Symptoms of intracranial hypertension: due to the rapid growth of glioblastoma and obvious cerebral edema, patients may have symptoms of intracranial hypertension, such as headache, vomiting and optic papillae edema. 2. Epilepsy: epilepsy may occur in patients with advanced glioblastoma, but it is less common than astrocytoma. 3. Mental abnormality: patients may show apathy, dementia, mental retardation and other mental symptoms. 4. Symptoms of focal destruction of cerebral nerves: tumor infiltration destroys brain tissues, which can cause a series of focal symptoms, and patients can have different degrees of hemiplegia, hemiplegic sensory deficits, aphasia, hemianopsia and so on. For patients diagnosed with glioblastoma, they should go to the relevant departments of regular hospitals as soon as possible, and under the guidance of professional doctors, so as to prolong the survival period as much as possible and improve the quality of life of patients.
