Farsightedness Treatment

The clinical treatment of hyperopia is based on the diagnosis of physiological hyperopia or pathological hyperopia, and the treatment is based on different stages. When a child is born with physiological hyperopia, his or her vision should reach the normal adult level by the time he or she reaches 4 weeks of age. During childhood or adolescence, farsightedness can only be treated with glasses, and after the age of 18, adults can be treated with lasers, such as refractive surgery. After the age of 40, the eyes begin to develop presbyopia, and the patient begins to see far and not so clear, which can be corrected by wearing frame glasses. At this time, patients can correct their vision by wearing frame glasses. When they get older and start to have cloudy crystals, i.e. cataracts, they can be replaced by gradual multifocal lens implantation during cataract surgery to achieve full vision treatment for distance, middle and near vision. In conclusion, clinical treatment of farsightedness requires symptomatic treatment according to the patient’s age, nature of work life and different stages.
